White cheese wax is a coating for cheese that prevents unwanted mould growth and helps to retain moisture in the cheese during maturation. It presents an attractive finish to the cheese and enhances shopper perception. This is an unusual colour for cheese wax and will create standout in the chiller.
Typical Usage Level
Typical usage will depend on how thickly or thinly customers wish to apply the wax.
As a general guide, one 25 kg box of wax, is enough to coat 650-750 x 200 g cheeses.
